The 11th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) will be played between Multan Sultans and Quetta Gladiators on February 25 (Sunday).
The match is set to take place at the Multan Cricket Stadium in Multan and it is set to be an afternoon fixture commencing at 2:30 PM IST. It is the clash between the top two teams in the points table with Multan Sultans at number one position.
They have won three out of four matches played so far but lost to Peshawar Zalmi in their last game. On the other hand, Quetta Gladiators are also doing well under their new captain Rilee Rossouw having won all their three matches so far. They are coming into this game with a win over Ialambad United in a low-scoring thriller.
Who will win today’s match? We will answer this question in this article next:
Multan Sultans’ winning streak of three matches was stopped in the last outing against Peshawar. They couldn’t chase down 180 runs and lost by just five runs.
Alarm bells aren’t ringing just yet for them. But with matches coming thick and fast, Mohammad Rizwan and his men will be keen on returning ways quickly.
Mohammad Rizwan might not be in the best of form at the moment but opening the innings gives him the best chance to go big in the shortest format of the game.
He has so far scored 136 runs in four matches with a half-century to his name and has scored his runs at a strike rate of 127.1. Much will depend on how he performs at the top of the order for the Sultans in this game.

While Mohammad Ali has been the highest wicket-taker of PSL 2024, his teammate Abbas Afridi is next having picked seven wickets so far.
Afridi picked up a five-wicket haul against the Gladiators in the last face-off and he will take that confidence into this game. Expect Abbas to add more wickets to his tally in this crucial top-of-the-table encounter of this season.

Quetta Gladiators are well and truly ahead in the race to make it to the playoffs in PSL 2024. The team has performed exceptionally well so far defending a total in their opening game and then chasing down decent totals in the next two outings. They will be looking to continue their winning run and make it four wins in a row this season.
Jason Roy is one player in the Gladiators’ line-up who can take the game away from the opposition in the powerplay overs itself. He has been trying to do the same this season scoring 136 runs at a strike-rate of 160 in three matches so far.
Roy’s performance in the first six overs can more or less decide which way this game is going on Sunday at the Multan Cricket Stadium in Multan.
Top Batter Stats - Recent Matches
Abrar Ahmed has been the surprise package this season in PSL. The mystery spinner has already done well in Tests for Pakistan and has shown that he is no stranger in T20 cricket either.
Abrar’s spin has helped him earn six wickets so far and his economy of 7.25 is also one of the best among top wicket-takers of the season so far.
Top Bowler Stats - Recent Matches
The aforementioned cricket betting tips will help you predict the player of the match winner of this massive encounter in PSL. There are no clear favourites and hence, the likes of Roy and Rizwan are two of the players who can win it with their batting skills.
Our toss prediction for the 11th match of PSL between Multan Sultans and Quetta Gladiators is that the team winning the toss will follow the trend and bowl first. The pitches haven’t been as flat in Multan compared to Lahore and that keeps bowlers interested as well.
Interestingly, this is the fifth and final match of the season in Multan and it has been a mixed bag so far with two wins each for teams bowling and batting first. Scores haven’t been massive too making it an even contest between bat and ball.
The cricket odds will mostly favour the team bowling first even as the weather is expected to be pretty clear for the match to take place.
Quetta Gladiators have the momentum with them at the moment and expect them to make it four out of four wins in this encounter. Multan Sultans are a very good team but might lose to the Gladiators for the first time in six outings in PSL.
