The 45th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) season will be played between Gujarat Titans and Royal Challengers Bengaluru on April 28 (Sunday). The clash will take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad and will commence at 3:30 PM IST. The Titans have been inconsistent this season having won four out of nine matches.
They also lost their previous match and cannot afford to lose any more matches now. On the other hand, there is still an outside chance for RCB to make it to the playoffs but they must win all their remaining games first and then hope for other results to go their way. They are coming off a stunning win over SRH away from home and will be feeling confident.
Match prediction is what follows next in this article with a detailed analysis of both teams in action:
Gujarat Titans are currently at the seventh position and are coming into this game after losing to Delhi Capitals by just four runs. They had almost chased down the 225-run target but fell short agonisingly in the end.
Shubman Gill’s inconsistent run is one of the reasons for their poor show but the form of David Miller should please them. The bowling attack needs to step up against the dangerous RCB batters if GT are to win this game.
Sai Sudharsan has done his job in almost every outing this season with the bat. He has been used as an impact player to bat at three or open the innings and the left-hander hasn’t disappointed.
Sudharsan has scored 334 runs in nine matches so far at an average of 37.11 and a strike-rate of 128.95. GT will need him to play a good knock if they are to post or chase a challenging total.

Rashid Khan has been neutralised by opposition this season cleverly. But a champion bowler like him always comes up with new tricks and the time has come for the Afghan to step up.
Rashid has so far picked up eight wickets in nine matches and his economy of 7.44 is best among all GT bowlers. He needs to have a good day at the office if the Titans are to add two points to their kitty.

RCB finally managed to arrest their losing streak of six matches in their previous outing. Moreover, they beat none other than the six-hitting powerhouse, Sunrisers Hyderabad defending a total of 206 runs.
With only two wins in nine matches, RCB have very slim hopes of making it to the top four but Faf du Plessis and his men would desperately want to continue the winning run now.
Virat Kohli is on top of the run-scoring charts right from the start of IPL 2024. He has scored 430 runs in nine matches so far at an average of 61.42 and a strike rate of 145.76 with three half-centuries and a century to his name.
RCB will look at him to continue in the same vein if they are to add two more points to their tally and at least come up from the bottom position.
Top Batter Stats - Recent Matches
Yash Dayal has been a surprise for everyone. He has bowled well compared to other RCB bowlers this season.
The man has accounted for eight wickets so far in as many matches and even though his economy is 9.43, the numbers are improving for him. Dayal is a wicket-taker and would love to contribute to more to the team’s cause in the upcoming matches.

The aforementioned betting tips will certainly assist you in making informed decisions related to match outcomes including predicting the player of the match award winner correctly. Kohli has the orange cap having scored 430 runs so far and the man is likely to step up once again for his side and take away the top award of the match.
Our toss prediction today for the GT vs RCB clash is that the team winning the toss might look to bowl first. The last three matches in Ahmedabad have been won by sides bowling first and hence, the captains would want to continue with the trend.
Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad has already hosted four matches in IPL 2024. Punjab Kings chased down 200 runs earlier this season at the venue but GT also got bowled out for just 89 runs here. So there is not much idea about the behavior of the pitch.
So it is better to bowl first and then chase down the score. The best betting odds will be in balance to start with even as the weather in Ahmedabad will be as hot as ever in the afternoon with the temperature touching almost 40 Degrees Celsius.
Winning is a habit and RCB are likely to continue with their habit as they have finally broken their losing streak. On the other hand, GT haven’t been able to capitalize on home conditions this season and might continue to struggle. RCB are expected to beat GT in this encounter.
