Betting Odds Expert

Manish Khorgade brings a wealth of knowledge in cricket and stats to the world of cricket betting. He was hooked on cricket as a 9-year-old back in 1992 during the ODI World Cup. Those iconic semi-finals watched along with his father left an indelible mark on him. He hasn't left cricket since. Or, more appropriately, it's the other way around.

About 13 years into the IT industry, he decided to shift base and follow cricket, wherever it might take him. Manish started with content writing for various publications. He, along with his friends, created GameOfStats - a statistics portal for fantasy sports enthusiasts - helping them create stats-based fantasy teams. He is currently a jack of all things and master of a few on this very portal - cricket-betting.com.

Being a stats expert, he spends time understanding the odds provided by the sportsbooks for various markets. He is astounded by how very little has been done when it comes to using cricket stats in predicting the outcome of an event. He aspires to change that.

Manish loves it when an underdog wins the game. He doesn’t have any favourite cricketers. Only the ones that inspire him more than others. He considers MS Dhoni to be the closest to a perfect sportsman - Brains, Brawn and Nerves. He also thinks Ben Stokes is a superstar and that Ravindra Jadeja should have some fielding drills named after him.

Manish wishes to visit major sports venues across the world. Until then he is busy talking, writing, analyzing, and debating all things cricket.

IND Vs ENG Match Preview

India and England will face each other in the third Test of the five-match series starting on February 15. The clash is set to take place at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot. The series is levelled at 1-1 currently with India winning the previous Test match played in Visakhapatnam while England had won in Hyderabad.

Quite a few injury concerns have affected both teams throughout this series. Jack Leach is the latest casualty and has been ruled out of the series. Meanwhile, India will continue to be without Virat Kohli (personal reasons) and Mohammed Shami (injury).

Moreover, KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja will only play if the medical team clears them fit. The third Test is extremely crucial as teams will look to take a lead in the series.

Who will win today’s match? We will answer this question in this article next:

India Preview

After a gap of almost two weeks, team India will be taking the field more confident and despite winning the previous Test, certain changes are set to be made in the playing XI.

Shreyas Iyer has been dropped while KS Bharat might lose his place as well with Dhruv Jurel waiting in the wings. It also remains to be seen if Rahul and Jadeja get fit in time for the Test.

India Lineup
Rohit Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Rajat Patidar, Ravichandran Ashwin, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, Ravindra Jadeja, Sarfaraz Khan, Dhruv Jurel

India - Who Will Be The Best Batter?

Yashasvi Jaiswal is a fearless cricketer and he showed his ability in the second Test. The left-hander started off cautiously before smashing 209 runs in the first innings which eventually made the difference in the game.

The youngster will be crucial to India’s fortunes yet again and will be keen on continuing his good run in the longest format of the game.

India - Who Will Be The Best Bowler?

Jasprit Bumrah delivered his best in home Tests in the last game picking up nine wickets for just 91 runs including a six-fer in the first innings.

The onus will be on him once again if India are to take a lead in the series. Bumrah is known to make things happen and if he gets into his own in the third Test, England will certainly have tough times.

England Preview

England will be without Jack Leach for the rest of the series and the young spinners will have to shoulder the responsibility.

Moreover, the visitors are also likely to move away from their one-seamer approach and it is very much likely that Ollie Robinson or Mark Wood will play in Rajkot alongside James Anderson. The third Test is massive in the context of the series and England will be eager to take a 2-1 lead.

England Lineup
Ben Stokes, Ben Foakes, Zak Crawley, Ben Duckett, Ollie Pope, Joe Root, Jonny Bairstow, Rehan Ahmed, Tom Hartley, James Anderson, Mark Wood

England - Who Will Be The Best Batter?

Zak Crawley is one man who has looked consistent right through the series without a huge score to show. He has scored 200 runs in four innings with two fifties to his name at an average of 50.

Opening the innings, he has perfectly blended the aggression and defence keeping the bowlers on the tenterhooks all the time.

England - Who Will Be The Best Bowler?

James Anderson is a veteran and he showed off his skills in the second Test as well. With conditions no more entirely conducive to spinners, reverse swing is set to come into play and this is where Anderson threatens to run down the opposition line-up.

His experience will come into play for England especially if they bowl first like they did in the second Test.

IND Vs ENG - Who Will Be The Player Of The Match?

The aforementioned cricket betting tips will help you in determining the player of the match award winner for the third Test. India are the favourites again and Jaiswal can be the man to make a match-winning impact for the hosts.

IND Vs ENG - Who Will Win Today's Toss?

Our toss prediction for the third Test between India and England is that the team will bat first after winning the toss. It is no surprise in the sub-continent that teams look to bat first as it becomes extremely tough to bat fourth in the Test match.

IND Vs ENG Venue, Pitch and Weather Report

Rajkot has hosted only two Test matches before with one of them ending in a draw. The surface here is known to be extremely good for batting with the average first innings score being 593.

The cricket odds will certainly be in favour of India to start with while the weather in Rajkot is set to be clear for all five days of the Test.

IND Vs ENG Match Winner Prediction

India are expected to win the third Test match and take a massive lead of 2-1 in the five-match series. Having said that, England will definitely come hard at them but lack of experience in spin department is likely to hurt them in the end.
