Brisbane Heat and Adelaide Strikers will be up against each other in the final of the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) on Saturday, December 2. The Adelaide Strikers will host the contest.
The Strikers are the defending champions and they have played like one in the ongoing edition.
After topping the points table, they booked a berth in the final. The Heat won the WBBL back in 2018 and 2019 and they have a golden chance of adding to their title.
The Strikers did not have to take part in the playoffs after they finished atop the table with 22 points and a net run rate of +1.154 thanks to wins in 11 out of 14 matches.
The Strikers are currently on a five-match winning streak and will go into the final high on confidence. If they win, the Strikers will be the third team after the Heat and Sydney Sixers to win back-to-back WBBL titles.
Katie Mack has been stupendous for the Strikers in the ongoing edition of the WBBL. As per our cricket tips, Mack is expected to perform in the final.
She is currently the leading run-scorer for the Strikers, having notched 449 runs from 14 matches at an average of 32.07 and a strike-rate of 119.73 with three half-centuries and a top score of 86.

Amanda Jade Wellington has created a lot of troubles for batters in the tournament. She is one, who will be expected to step up in the final. When the two teams met at the Karen Rolton Oval, Wellington finished with figures of 4-0-14-3, picking up the wickets of Georgia Voll, Mignon du Preez and Jess Jonassen.
As per our best toss prediction, the team winning the toss should opt to bat first. Putting runs on the board in matches as big as finals should be the way forward. Both teams also have the bowling to defend targets. Scores over 150 can be tough to chase down in Adelaide under pressure.
The Adelaide Oval has hosted two matches thus far and batting has not been easy. The pitch is likely to get tougher to bat on. Fast bowlers are most likely to come into the play, especially with the new ball.
There is no chance of rain as of now in Adelaide and playing conditions will be clear. Temperatures will be around 21 degrees Celsius.
As per our cricket match prediction, Adelaide Strikers will go into the match as favorites without a doubt. They were the best team in the league stage by a country mile. On current form, the Strikers have a great chance of defending their title. The Heat won their matches in the playoffs, but they may run out of steam against the Strikers.
