The third and final T20I of the three-match series between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan will be played on February 21 (Wednesday). The match is scheduled to take place again at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium in Dambulla and will commence at 7 PM IST. Sri Lanka have already won the series and will be keen on cleansweeping Afghanistan in this six-match white-ball tour.
The visitors, meanwhile, have come close on multiple times to beat Sri Lanka on this tour. But they haven’t been able to close out the game. Nevertheless, they have one final chance of at least registering a consolation victory before ending this tour.
Who will win today’s match? We will answer this question in this article next:
Sri Lanka will be delighted with their performance so far in this series. They have been tested by Afghanistan in almost every game and they have come up trump every time.
The T20I series has been brilliant for them with almost every player stepping up so far and the hosts would love to end the successful series on a high.
Wanindu Hasaranga has surprisingly emerged as the best batter of this series so far. He has scored 89 runs in two matches and has faced only 41 balls smashing eight fours and three sixes.
Hasaranga has been leading from the front in all-round aspect but his batting has shone through more this time around. Another such outing is expected for him.

Matheesha Pathirana has been brilliant so far for Sri Lanka in this series. He turns out to be a beast in the shorter format of the game having picked up six wickets for just 46 runs in seven overs in this series.
Pathirana will be keen on adding more wickets to his tally even as his ability to nail yorkers at crunch situation continue to make him unplayable.

It has been a case of so near yet so far for Afghanistan on this tour. They came the closest in the first T20I but were hammered by 72 runs in the second and will be looking forward to ending the tour on a high.
They have so far lost all six matches on the tour including the one-off Test match but would love to leave the island nation with a win.
Skipper Ibrahim Zadran is one of the technically sound batters in the Afghanistan line-up and opening the innings, he provides solidity upfront. He smashed an unbeaten 67 runs in the series opener and will be gutted that he couldn’t take his team home.
Even though he got out early in the 188-run chase in the second game, Zadran continues to be crucial for the visitors.

Fazalhaq Farooqi, the left-arm pacer, can make the new ball talk and is very crucial for Afghanistan’s fortunes. He picked up 3/25 in four overs in the first match and backed it up with 1/31 in the second game proving his worth with the ball.
Clearly, the visitors will need him to bowl at his best to have any chance of making it 2-1 in the series.

The aforementioned cricket betting tips will certainly help you in predicting the correct player of the match winner for the third and final T20I. Sri Lanka are clear favourites to win this match and, Hasaranga could be the match-winner for them.
Our toss prediction for the third T20I between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan is that the team winning the toss will bat first. In both matches so far, the pitch has turned out to be a tough one to chase the score.
Rangiri Dambulla International stadium in Dambulla has showed it is better to bat first in the first two matches. Clearly, chasing isn’t the best option here.
The surface is the best to bat early on and then defend the total. The cricket odds will be in favour of Sri Lanka to start with even as the weather is set to be clear for the entire duration of the match.
Sri Lanka are expected to win the third and final T20I and whitewash Afghanistan while also keeping them winless throughout the tour. The visitors will put up a brilliant fight yet again but might not be able to get over the line.
